Life certainly is more fantastic than anyone may imagine. All that is required is to get out of one’s little shell, one’s little ego, and to look at things from a different, or higher, perspective. There, in other dimensions, the magic of life appears in all its splendour, and the usefulness of suffering, of illness, of death… can be grasped. Fear has no more sway. One sees through all living eyes, and not merely through one’s little parochial mind. But – that is the question – how to step back for a wider view? Michel Walter, 31 May 2006 |
